About GSDlog
GSDlog is an indie project led by a single developer and GSD owner. It's shaped by a small advisory circle—experienced handlers, working-dog trainers, and a consulting veterinarian. Advisors are volunteers; they don't provide individual medical advice through the app.
From puppyhood to senior years, GSDlog helps you track every moment of your German Shepherd's journey, providing valuable insights that help you make informed decisions about their health, training, and wellbeing.

When will the app be available?
GSDlog is currently in development. We're aiming for a beta release in Fall 2025, with a full launch following shortly after.
Which platforms will GSDlog be available on?
iPhone first. iPad and Apple Watch planned—see Roadmap. An Android version may follow based on demand, and we're considering a web version for viewing your data and reports.
How does the health tracking work?
Planned insights and trends based on scientific research, official breed standards, and veterinary data specific to German Shepherds. We prefer on-device models; if anything ever needs the cloud, you'll opt in explicitly.
Can I import existing data?
We're working on import tools for common formats and other pet apps to make transitioning to GSDlog seamless.
